2022 World Championships Judo in Tashkent: Silver for Casse, 5th place for Nikiforov

Nine judokas represented the Belgian tricolor at the World Judo Championships in the Uzbek capital Tashkent. Reigning world champion Matthias Casse (-81kg) failed to extend his title but took silver. The second-best performance is for Toma Nikiforov (-100kg) who just missed the bronze ending in fifth place. Below is an overview of all Team Belgium bouts.
